Vehbi Koç Foundation Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School

Vehbi Koç Foundation Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, formerly known as the Sarıyer Vehbi Koç Foundation High School, a vocational and technical high school found on the street Meserburnu Caddesi in Sarıyer, Istanbul. The new building was constructed by Vehbi Koç in 1976, and the educational institution has long been provided with financial support by the Vehbi Koç Foundation (VKV).

The old school building, which was constructed in the 1880s, was handed over to the Istanbul Municipality by its owner and was opened in 1944 as a middle school. From 1966 onwards, education continued in the same building as a high school. When the needs of the building, damaged over time, became too expensive to meet, today’s new school building was constructed on the land behind it with the support of Vehbi Koç. The historical building, which has gone through renovations, was for years used for administrative purposes and as a Teachers’ Lodge. The school, which had long operated under the name of the Sarıyer Vehbi Koç Foundation
High School, was turned into a hospitality and tourism vocational high school in the 2012-13 school year and the other building was given to the school for use as a practice hotel.

In the 2014-15 academic year, the school was turned into a vocational and technical Anatolian high school.
