A space allocated to the Turkish Pavilion for the 2014–34 period at Arsenale (a shipyard), one of the main venues for the Venice Biennial. Due to this initiative led by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) with the contribution of 21 sponsors, including the Vehbi Koç Foundation, Turkey has been able to adopt a long–term space at the Venice Biennial, considered to be one of the most important contemporary art and architecture events in the world. As a result of this space, Turkey was able to take part in the Venice Biennial International Architecture Exhibition with a national pavilion for the first time in 2014.
