BNP Paribas Grand Prix for Individual Philanthropy

BNP Paribas Grand Prix for Individual Philanthropy, award given by the Paris-based global and financial services foundation, BNP Paribas, to entrepreneurs of philanthropic initiatives that set a good example to its own customers and philanthropists worldwide. The Koç Family received the annual award in 2011 for “pioneering and exemplary initiatives across the globe”. In 2012, BNP Paribas published the book, Koç: Une Saga Philantrophique Dans La Turquie Moderne (Koç: A Story of Philanthropy in Modern Turkey). The book celebrated the activities of the award-winning Koç family and Vehbi Koç Foundation in the fields of education, health and culture and was written by Guy-Pierre Chomette with photography by Ahmet Sel.
