Anlağan, Çetin

Anlağan, Çetin (b. March 17, 1938, Urfa) archeologist and museologist. He was director of the Sadberk Hanım Museum between 1985 and 2005.

Çetin Anlağan graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Languages, History and Geography, Department of Protohistory and Asia Minor Archeology. After working at the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations in Ankara, he served as a museum inspector (1970–72). He went on to work at the Ministry of Education, General Directorate of Antiquities and Museums, fulfilling the role of assistant general manager from 1978 until his retirement in 1982. While working as director of Sadberk Hanım Museum (1985–2005), Anlağan published the following works: Protohistorik Çağ Silahları/Weapons of the Protohistoric Age (with Önder Bilgi, 1989) and Bir Arkeolog Müzecinin Anıları: Suyun İki Yakasında (Memoirs of an Archaeologist Curator: Both Shores of the Sea; 2011).
