Bozkurt, İsmail (b. July 29, 1965, Esslingen, Germany), physician and director. He has worked at the American Hospital as chief physician and responsible director since 2014.
After graduating from St George’s Austrian High School in Istanbul in 1984, he studied medicine at the Medical University of Vienna. Following his graduation in 1993, he completed a residency in family practice at Istanbul’s Şişli Etfal Hospital in 1996. In 2015, he received an MBA in hospital management and excellence in healthcare from Berlin University.
Dr. Bozkurt began working as a specialist in family practice at the American Hospital in 2001, becoming assistant responsible director in 2011. In 2013, he became director for continuous quality improvement until his appointment as chief physician and responsible director in 2014.
