Pekelman, Talat A. (b. September 12, 1964, Istanbul), engineer and director. From 1999 to 2001, he served as general director of the American Hospital.
He completed his secondary school education in 1981 at Istanbul’s Beşiktaş Anatolian High School and graduated from Istanbul Technical University as an electronics engineer in 1985. He received a master’s degree in international business administration from Istanbul University in 1986 and in biomedical engineering from Boğaziçi University in 1989. After completing a management training program at Houston Methodist Hospital (1989-92), he became deputy general director of the American Hospital, followed by general director in 1999. He parted in 2001, becoming a director at PNB Consulting (2001-04) and Kürüm Holding (2005-17). He is currently serving as general director of Filokur.
