Karşıyaka Elementary School Library, a library built by the Vehbi Koç Foundation (VKV) at Karşıyaka Elementary School in the Bahçelievler neighborhood of Çorum. The school, with an intake of almost 1,800 pupils, had no library until a campaign started by one of its Turkish teachers on social media in 2012, during which 10,000 books were donated. The library was built through the initiative of Mustafa Kemal Ulusu, son of Nuri Ulusu, librarian to Atatürk. The construction was financed by VKV and the opening took place in late 2013.
