UNHCR Syrian Refugee Educational Program, the provision of teaching and learning materials in Turkish and Arabic to education units in refugee camps in Turkey in 2015, in accordance with a protocol signed between the Vehbi Koç Foundation and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Teaching and learning materials supplied through the project, such as alphabet sets, maps, anatomical diagrams, abacuses, cell diagrams and periodic tables, were used at temporary education centers attended by approximately 8,000-10,000 Syrian students.
