Advan, Satia (b. October 15, 1966, Diyarbakır), physician and administrator. Served as acting chief physician of the
American Hospital between 2006 and 2008.
Advan graduated from Diyarbakır Anatolian High School in 1983 and Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1990. Following her compulsory service in Adıyaman (1991), she worked as a general practitioner at various public hospitals in Istanbul. In 1998, she completed her residency in public health at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. After joining the staff of the American Hospital in 1999, Dr. Advan went on to become the responsible director in 2003 and deputy chief physician in 2006. After leaving the American hospital in 2008 she worked at the Jinemed Medical Center (2008-09; chief physician), Acıbadem Hospital (2009-10; assistant medical director), Istanbul Cerrahi Hospital (2010-12; chief physician) and Anadolu Health Center (2012-15; chief physician). In 2016, she was appointed medical director of
MedAmerican Health Center.
