Bali, Adnan (b. April 23, 1962, Islahiye, Gaziantep), banker and director. He serves on the Vehbi Koç Foundation Board of Directors, representing Türkiye İşbank, where he has been chief executive officer since 2011.
After completing his secondary education at Islahiye High School in 1980, Bali studied at the Middle East Technical University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Department of Economics, graduating in 1986. In the same year, he assumed the role of assistant inspector on the İşbank Board of Inspectors. He was appointed assistant manager at the Fund Management Directorate in 1994, group manager in 1997 and division head in 1998. He served as manager of the bank’s branches in Şişli and Galata in 2002 and 2004 respectively. In 2006, he was made deputy chief executive in charge of corporate and commercial banking. On April 1, 2011, he became the 16th chief executive officer of İşbank. As well as being a member of The Banks Association of Turkey Board of Directors, president of the İşbank Credit Committee and a member of the Risk Committee, Bali has also been employed as chairman of the board of directors at the Industrial Development Bank of Turkey since 2011 and İşbank AG since 2012.
