Tekay, Mesrure (b. December 19, 1955, Gaziantep), educator and director who served as head of Koç Primary School from 1998 to 2013.
She graduated from the Gaziantep Private College in 1973, received a degree in English language and literature from Gazi University in 1976 and completed postgraduate studies in education technology at Hacettepe University in 1980. Tekay taught English at Ankara Private Yükseliş High School (1980-85) and Ankara Private İlkadım High School (1985-87), and served as head of the English department, deputy director and director of Ankara Private İlkem High School (1989-94). She became the founding director of Ankara İhsan Doğramacı Foundation Bilkent Private Elementary School in 1994, where she served until 1998 when she was appointed as the founding director of Koç Primary School. She remained in this position until her retirement in 2013. At present, she serves as a project consultant at the Koç Model School run by the Vehbi Koç Foundation.
