Koç, Caroline N(icole) (b. September 12, 1971, Izmir), née GIRAUD, businesswoman. She has been a member of the
Koç Holding Board of Directors since 2016. Her husband is Mustafa V. Koç, the first grandson of
Vehbi Koç and Sadberk Koç.
A member of the Giraud family, a family of Levantine heritage with roots in Izmir, she completed secondary education at St. George’s School in Switzerland and undergraduate education in business at Babson College, USA. She married Mustafa V. Koç on July 14, 1992. The couple have two daughters, Esra (b. 1997) and Aylin Elif (b. 2001) (see Koç family).
Caroline Koç was director of Edwards of Hisar from 1992 to 1998. In 1998, she founded and managed the İlkadım Play and Education Center for Kids. She is the founder and current chair of the board of directors at Haremlique Istanbul (established 2008) and Selamlique Istanbul (established 2009).
She is also chair of the board of directors for the Turkish Family Health and Planning Foundation (TAPV), a member of the board of directors for the Tohum Autism Foundation, and a founding member of the Turkish Foundation for Underwater Archeology (TINA) and the Contemporary Education Foundation of Turkey (ÇEV); she received the Women to Watch Award in 2015.
