The Rahmi M. Koç Museology and Cultural Foundation, founded in 1993 by Rahmi M. Koç to establish industrial and other museums, build up collections and develop museology and culture throughout Turkey. Rahmi M. Koç is the lifetime president of the foundation and Dr. Bülent Bulgurlu is the lifetime vice president. The following museums and organizations are part of the foundation: Istanbul Rahmi M. Koç Museum (1994), Ankara Rahmi M. Koç Museum (2005), Sevim and Necdet Kent Library in Ayvalık (2007) and Ayvalık Rahmi M. Koç Museum (2014).
